Network Delays

Please note there were intermittent routing errors with high latency and packet loss on Cogentco and Global Crossing networks today.

Affected were several core routers outside our control in the northeastern US. This affected many datacenters throughout the New York Metropolitan area and New England.

For this reason, some customers, depending on their ISP and the routes to your server(s), were disrupted.

Data transmission in the northeastern US has now normalized. At present, there are still a few issues in the US and globally. Some of these exacerbated the issues described above.

You may refer to sites such as Keynote Systems for *general*, US network routing "health". See:

http://www.internetpulse.net/?Metric=PL&Period=RH24

(Keynote Systems' publicly available information updates in realtime and monitors availability and latency between major Tier One backbones. It should not be used to guage any data center or service in particular).
